The Sri Gaur Purnima festival began early this year as villagers started arriving at the math five days prior to the official start date. Srila Bhakti Nirmal Acharya Maharaj set up a large pandal beside Sri Govinda Kunda and programmes have been taking place there three times a day for the last three days.
