Opening our video stream.

Darśan means vision. Gauḍīya darśan means:

Developing such vision is the purpose of the teachings presented by Śrī Gauḍīya Darśan.

To further this end we are pleased to open our video stream.

Although the vision of material eyes leads only to deception, we are confident that this facility of ‘seeing’ the vision of the heart described by our Gurus will assit the sincere in their practice of learning to see spiritually, that is, learning ‘Gauḍīya darśan’.

oṁ ajñāna-timirāndhasya jñānāñjana-śalākayā
chakṣur unmilitaṁ yena tasmai śrī-gurave namaḥ

I offer my obeisance unto Śrī Gurudev, who has opened my eyes, which were blinded by the darkness of ignorance, with the salve of divine knowledge.”

premāñjana-chchhurita-bhakti-vilochanena
santaḥ sadaiva hṛdayeṣu vilokayanti
yaṁ śyāmasundaram achintya-guṇa-svarūpaṁ
govindam ādi puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi
(Śrī Brahma-saṁhitā: 5.38)

I serve the inconceivable, original Lord, Śyāmasundar Govinda, whom the sādhus always see within their hearts through eyes of devotion tinged with the salve of love.”

sarva-bhūteṣu yaḥ paśyed bhagavad-bhāvam ātmanaḥ
bhūtāni bhagavaty ātmany eṣa bhāgavatottamaḥ
(Śrīmad Bhāgavatam: 11.2.45)

‘One who sees their beloved Lord within all beings, and all beings within their beloved Lord is a topmost devotee.’

sarvatra kṛṣṇera mūrti kare jhalamala
se dekhite pāya yā̐ra ā̐khi niramala
andhibhūta chakṣu yāra viṣaya dhūlite
ki-rūpe se para-tattva pāibe dekhite

One whose vision is pure sees Kṛṣṇa’s form shining everywhere. How will one whose eyes are blinded by the dust of mundanity ever be able to see that Supreme Truth?”
