Realisation and Self-Adjustment

In this new audio posting extracted from a lecture given on 19 December 2010 in Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math Nabadwip, Srila Acharya Maharaj charismatically illuminates the depth of sincerity within the hearts of true spiritual practitioners using the examples of Srila Sanatan Goswami Prabhu and Srila Raghunath Das Goswami Prabhu. Specifically, he divulges that a sincere practitioner will always be internally detached from all worldly things and strive to progressively realize the will of their master and adjust themselves accordingly. Additionally, he vividly illustrates that a sincere practitioner will always practice spiritual life in utter humility, free from any form of false egotism—considering oneself the doer of one’s service activities. In particular, Srila Acharya Maharaj explains why Sriman Mahaprabhu was pleased when Srila Sanatan Goswami Prabhu gave up the blanket given to him by his cousin Sri Kanta, why Srila Raghunath Das Goswami Prabhu gave up the practice of arranging festivals to serve the devotees of Jagannath Puri and how the temple of Sri Madan-Mohan in Vrindavan became manifest. By meditating on the principles illustrated by these Pastimes, one can understand the progressive form of spiritual life Srila Acharya Maharaj embodies and endeavors to reveal in the hearts of his faithful followers.
